Professional Sales Co-Major Requirements (12 credits)

Required Grades and GPA

Major GPA of 2.0 – GPA includes all courses counting toward the Professional Sales major

Other Policies

Students pursuing this co-major must earn a C or higher in BUS-M 370/M304 (Marketing component of I-Core).

Professional Sales is a co-major for students who matriculated to IUB in fall 2022 or later.  These students may only declare Professional Sales as a co-major in conjunction with another primary Kelley major, or they may pursue the Marketing and Professional Sales major.

Required Courses (9 credits):

  • BUS-M 330: Consultative Selling (3 credits) P: Must be a current student in the Kelley School of Business
  • BUS-M 407: Business-to-Business Marketing (3 credits) P: BUS-M 370 or BUS-M 304 with grade of C or higher
  • BUS-M 426: Sales Management (3 credits) P: BUS-M 370 or BUS-M 304, with a grade of C.

Elective Courses (3 credit hours required):

  • BUS-M 405: Consumer Behavior (3 credits) P: Must be a current Kelley School of Business major
  • BUS-M 436: Advanced Professional Sales Practicum (3 credits) P: BUS-M 330
  • BUS-Z 404: Effective Negotiations (3 credits) P: BUS-Z 370 or BUS-J 304 with a grade of C or higher
